A Day With Friends!

For the Veterans Day Holiday, Cooper's school had Monday off and mine had Tuesday off, so I stayed home with him on Monday and we had company! My good friend Molly and her three kids, Jessica, Jordan and 2 month old Max came over to play! Molly and I had discussed different things we could do, like going to the San Jose Childrens Discovery Museum. We both really wanted to do that for the kids - but as soon as they got here we ended up being a little bit selfish and deciding to stay at home and play. Since we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, staying home allowed us to have time to catch up without chasing the kids around a museum. I always love being able to get together with Molly and seeing her adorable kids. She is such an inspiration to me - being such an unbelievable and loving mother to Jessica, Jordan and Max. Since we didn't go to the Museum this time - we already decided that we will for sure go during my Christmas Break! Woohoo!

Lunchtime - Cooper actually ate pretty good because he wanted to do what Jessica did. Thanks, Jessica!

Playing outside - the cutest baseball player ever!

A Quarter Century!

On November 6th I tured 25! I know, it's really not too old, but it seems a whole lot older when you say "25" instead of "24". On my birthday day I worked, of course, and was absolutely spoiled at work. 2 different teachers brought me Starbucks in the morning with treats...so I saved one drink and treat for the next morning, one of the secretaries brought me balloons and towards the end of the day the whole office staff sang "Happy Birthday" to me and we enjoyed a delicious OREO CAKE and they gave me a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory! And that's not all...during the last period of the day one of the PE teachers brought her WHOLE class in my office (30 students squeezed in) and they all sang me "Happy Birthday"! It was so cute and I'm sure my face was bright red, because I'm not one to like all the attention on me. I am so grateful for all my friends at work! Thanks so much everyone!
Then, I went home and Chad and Cooper sang Happy Birthday to me and I opened up a new camera from them! I had been wanting one for awhile and was so excited...the camera has so many cool things on it! Still trying to figure it all out. Then, Chad, Coop, Mark (my father-in-law) and I went out to dinner! It was a great birthday day! Thanks, family!
On Sunday, a few days after my birthday, we met my parents in Pleasanton at a park (a perfect halfway point between here and Stockton). The park was SOO CUTE, I'm sure we will go back. They got me some great gifts - one being the cute shirt I am holding above. We played for awhile and then went to dinner at a Mexican Restaurant...and boy was it delish! Thanks, Mom and Dad!

Here are some pics of Cooper enjoying his playtime at the park.

He thought it was so funny to give "kissies" through the holes.

Cintas Softball Game and Picnic

Last weekend Chad's work had their annual softball game and picnic. This year it was in Hayward so on Saturday morning we made the quick drive from San Jose to Hayward. I had just opened up my new camera for my birthday 2 days prior so I was excited to have a reason to take some good pics! It was a fun day for all of us. Chad got to play a game of softball - any sport can make that guy happy! Cooper got to play with the baseballs, watch Daddy hit the ball, see lots of doggies and play at the park.

Cooper as a happy boy on the drive to Hayward. You'll see he is holding his new bike with his left hand...he would not let go of it the entire way!

Halloween Day and Night

We had such an eventful Halloween day. It all began at 7am when I left for work and Coopie went to school. Since Coop was being a cowboy for Halloween, I got the idea to dress up as a cowgirl for work that day (last year I dressed up as a man) so I wanted something that was more flattering :).

Here is Coop eating breakfast with my cowboy hat on - THANKS Judi for letting me borrow your cute hat!

Coop in his Happy Halloween shirt with his Cowgirl Mommy!

Araceli (school secretary) and I planned to be cowgirls together! We missed Lisa (another school secretary) who was out of town this Halloween. We all dressed up together last year, too.

After work and school we went over to our friends, The Alameda's - had some pizza and got ready to go Trick-or-Treating with them. Cooper just adores Ezra...here is our little Cowboy with Ezra as Clark Kent.

Jazlyn as the cutest Boston Red Sox player I've ever seen, Clark Kent and Cowboy Cooper who refused to wear his cowboy hat all night...

Cooper went door-to-door trick-or-treating to about 10 houses total...until we decided to put him in the stroller. At each house he would want to go inside...especially when he heard doggies barking. Cooper was a pro at putting out his bucket and loved when people would drop the candy inside. His favorite candy were the M & M minis...perfect for the little buddy. Here is how our evening ended...walking around with Coop in the stroller with his doggie beanie enjoying almost an entire can of puffs while Jazlyn and Ezra went door-to-door!

And a cute family picture with the pumpkins...

What a fun night... Next year it will be fun to hear Cooper say "Trick-or-Treat!".

And just because I'm sure you're wondering what I looked like as a man last Halloween...here you go - SCARY, I KNOW!

Here is Cooper last year as a pirate...what a smiley little boy he was at 5 months old.

And last Halloween with Grandma Dawn...We all miss her every single day!

Pumpkin Carving

On Thursday evening we decided to carve a pumpkin with Cooper. At first he was a bit timid of all the pumpkin's "guts" but soon after thought it was pretty dang funny everytime Chad or I would pull some out. Cooper's laugh is just too precious!

Coop is too afraid to touch the pumpkin guts...but thinks it's hillarious everytime Chad or I pull some out...

What the heck is inside this thing???

Not afraid anymore...Cooper is ready to pull some out himself...
