Yesterday in the kitchen I felt like pretending I was in dance class again...after dancing for 14 years of my life and then not at all, I miss it quite a lot. So I began doing some pirroettes and Cooper thought it was pretty funny. So he tried too! Here we are, enjoying ourselves in the kitchen. Being a mommy is so much fun!

Boys will be Boys
When I went to Las Vegas for Matt and Mall's birthday...It was a Daddy and Cooper weekend. I was a bit nervous, but I think that's because it's always difficult to leave your child wherever it is you are going, but Chad's a great Dad so I knew everything would be okay. Little did I know they were going to have quite the boys evening...I came home to these pictures!
I'm not sure what to think of my precious little boy going to Hooters for dinner - but I do know he is by far the cutest person in these pictures and he looks quite happy! Silly Daddy! But really, I am glad they had a great weekend together.

Happy 21st Birthday Matthew and Mallory!
My parents took us all to Las Vegas for Matt and Mallory's 21st Birthday! It was a blast. I still can't believe my "little" brother and sister are 21...where has the time gone?! One of my closest friends from Long Beach, Jamie, who I had not seen in over a year met us there, so it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to see her, too! Yay for birthdays and yay for friends!

Quick Stockton Visit
Last weekend we were able to go to Stockton to see my parents and it was great because my sister was coming home for a day, too! Yay, for family time! On our way in we stopped by my Alma Mater - Bear Creek High, because they were having an alumni baseball game and my dad called us and told us to stop by. (He didnt go to Bear Creek, but he helped coach while my brother was in high school and I have to say my dad's a pretty cool guy and he always had a good relationship with all the guys that played baseball when I was in school too.) It was the first alumni game and the turnout was INCREDIBLE! How fun for all of those guys! I had not been at the Creek since 2005 when I was subbing for a month or so there...and since then EVERYTHING has changed - a new theatre, pool, baseball field - pretty much an awesome high school! I mean I loved my high school but how come we couldn't have all that fun stuff! Good for the Creek, though! It all looked so nice! Back to the baseball game - It was fun to bring Cooper to a baseball game - he has been to NUMEROUS football and basketball games but zero baseball games...of course, he LOVED it! He is such a boy! Near the batting cage I found a bat and the brand name was "Cooper" so, I of course, had to take a picture of that! Cooper got in his batting stance and I snapped a pic - pretty sure it's my new favorite pic of him! Such a handsome fella!
That day we just hung out with my parents - and at night went out to dinner at Strings. Scrumpcious! I had a migraine :( So, I went to bed pretty early. The next morning I woke up to this...Cooper is becoming quite the "copy cat" and right here he wanted to be just like Grammie and read the Sunday Ads! The funniest part about this is he was so serious looking through the Target ad - and you can't see from here but he was on the SPORTS page of the ad the WHOLE time! Imagine that!
On Sunday, Chad and my dad did some work at my parents rental house in hopes to get it ready for new renters soon and my mom, sister, Coop and I hung out around the house. Cooper enjoyed playing with Misty - and this time they played much better together. Cooper is finally learning not to pull her tail and tear her hair out! Sunday afternoon we left back for San Jose - it was a fast trip, but it's always nice to see my parents and just relax away from home. This is what Cooper looked like the whole way home...actually, this is often what he looks like in the car. He sure knows how to make me smile!
Our little Oakland Athletic
The Alameda's gave us this A's jersey, especially made for our little boy, at one of my baby showers. (I'm still a Giants fan - but Chad is ALL ABOUT the A's.) We absolutely love it...but since it was size 3T it has just been hanging in his closet waiting for the day it would finally fit. Today was the day - I thought I'd give it a try and see how it looked. Good thing I did, it's a perfect fit! If I waited till next year it would have been too small. We are going to have to get ourselves to some A's games this season so Cooper can show off his cool jersey! Big thanks to Judi, Bill, Soleil, Trent, Jazlyn and Ezra!
