Snow Boots were on sale at Target this weekend - so, since we are going to the snow for a week in a couple months we decided to get the three of us a pair of snow boots. Well when we got home, Cooper decided to try on Daddy's boots...I think they are a wee bit too big Coop!

Campbell Christian School Carnival
Today, Coopers school had a Fall Carnival called "Festival of Lights". There were tons of fun things for the kids to do...a petting zoo, pony rides, lots of jump houses, pumpkin decorating, basketball, the playground and then of course stuff to eat. It was fun to see some of Cooper's teachers and friends from school. It was also fun to be able to dress the buddy up as a cowboy again - although, this time with short hair!
Petting Zoo
Picking up the pumpkin or what Cooper thinks is a "ball"
"Yes, mama, I got it!"
Playing on the playground...
Peek a Boo
Most likely pointing to an airplane - he spots every single one...no matter how far away they are
Scooping up a ducky for a prize.

Haircut
Saturday, after Coopers nap we took him to get his 3rd haircut. We were a little nervous because even though Cooper loved getting his haircut the 1st time, the 2nd time was horrific. The poor buddy cried the ENTIRE time. So, we thought he would do the same this time - but nope...he did a great job! Smiled and drove the "haircut car" the whole time. We were so proud!
I think he looks older with his new cut. I guess he will be 17 months tomorrow...geeze louise. I like having Cooper's hair short so we can actually do something with it. His many calics, especially the one in the front, often make it impossible to do something with. What a handsome little guy!
Here he is on his new bike, which he absolutely LOVES! A friend from work gave it to me last week. Thanks :)

Kirkwood Plaza Trick or Treat
On Saturday a shopping center near our house had a Trick or Treat festival going on. We dressed Cooper in his Cowboy costume for the first time - and I'm pretty sure he loved being all dressed up. He was great about going around to each store, holding on to his "trick or treat" back SO TIGHT and putting his bag out for candy. He can't say trick or treat yet...maybe by Halloween, but most likely not until next year...
After we were done trick or treating Cooper decided he was hungry for some M and M's...he enjoyed an entire bag (snack size of course). There was a costume contest at noon but Cooper decided he was too tired and it was time to take a nap so we did not make it that long...oh well! We know he had a great time!

Phillips Farm Pumpkin Patch
On Sunday, my parents and Grandma went with Chad, me and Cooper to the Pumpkin Patch. It was such a windy and cold day but it still worked out. We went to the same one last year when Cooper was just 5 months old so it was so much fun to see him able to run around and enjoy all the animals and pumpkins. He also loved climbing on the stacks of hay to be able to stick his cute little face in all the painted holes. We went on a hay ride and walked through a short, but very dark corn maze! I know Cooper had another great day of fun. It was a wonderful weekend for me just being able to see Cooper have a great time! I am sure we will be back next year...whoa and Cooper will be 2! Crazy!!!
Micke Grove Zoo and Fun Land
On Saturday my dad, Chad and I took Cooper to the Micke Grove Zoo. It is just a small zoo in Lodi close to my parents house. We had taken Cooper to the zoo once before in Arizona but now that he is a bit older and LOVES animals he definitely enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of monkeys and birds. It's such a joy to see him have so much fun and be so happy.
