Weekend of Weddings

On September 27th we had two weddings to attend in Stockton - my 2nd cousin Steve and his wife Meredith and a good friend from high school, Joe and his wife Rachel. Unfortunately they both started at 4:00pm...since we wanted to be able to go to both we all decided to go to my cousin's wedding ceremony and attend Joe and Rachel's reception. I think it worked out pretty well and I am so glad we were still able to be part of both weddings. Both brides looked absolutely stunning! Since Joe was such a great high school friend, it was pretty much a high school reunion at his reception...so much fun to see all of my friends from the Creek! Thanks to my Aunt Verna who played with Cooper while we were at the weddings. Since the reception was so close to my parents house I was still able to go home real quick to put my little boy to bed...nothing makes me feel as good as giving Cooper goodnight kisses and putting him to bed myself - maybe that's a little of the controlling part of me coming out but geeze it truly makes me a happy mommy! Anyways - Congrats Steve and Meredith and Joe and Rachel!!!
