For Thanksgiving we switch between Chad's and my family each year. This year was Chad's side of the family and we had some very special visitors...Mamaw and Pawpaw (Chad's grandparents from Arizona)!!! They are pretty much the best houseguests you could ever have...Neither of them like to sit still for too long - so our house was landscaped outside by Pawpaw when he was restless and our kitchen always spotless, thanks to Mamaw. Besdies all the hardwork they do for us when they visit we absolutely LOVE having their company - they are so loving and so much fun to be around. Cooper loved saying "Mamaw" and "Pawpaw". They came in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and left the Monday after. We went to a couple preseason basketball games for Chads team, went grocery shopping for our Thanksgiving feast that we were having at our house, went bowling and just spent some quality family time.
On Thanksgiving day Mark, Brooke, Troy and Papa joined Chad, Coop, Pawpaw, Mamaw and I at our house for lots of eatin'! Mark made the turkey and Brooke and Mamaw did most of the other cookin' - how I got out of that I have no idea...but I surely appreciated all the hard work everyone put in to a delicious meal!
Getting ready to go to one of Daddy's basketball games
Mamaw and I bought Coop some special Thanksgiving balloons and he loved them!
Cooper enjoyed helping Mamaw and Brookie make the mashed potatoes...maybe because he was getting lots of "taste testers!"
Tasting with Grandpa.
YUMMY!!!
Our table fit perfectly in Coops playroom
Enjoying the feast

Sam and I at the bowling alley - Chad's cousins came on Saturday from Modesto to hang out for the day.
The beautiful wreath Brookie, Mamaw and I made for Dawn. We all missed her a whole lot.
